Job Description: Performs a wide variety of nursing care activities for medical-surgical and telemetry patients under the general supervision of a registered nurse. Qualifications: * Graduate of an approved school or Practical Nursing. * Current, valid, and unrestricted LPN license from NC or compact state. * BLS certification. * Satisfactory completion of Rhythm Interpretation Course. * CPI will be required within 3 months of hire. * ACLS will be required within 1 year after hire. * Required to demonstrate age-specific competency for patients, ranging from adult to geriatric. Preferred: Nursing experience in an acute care hospital. Experience: No experience required, but at least one year of acute care hospital nursing is strongly preferred.
