Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Primary Responsibilities:  As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will supervise other licensed and non-licensed staff in the day-to-day delivery of patient care. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) prepares and reviews medical records, nurses’ notes to evaluate the resident’s physical and emotional status. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care according to the physician’s orders, care plans, established standards, policies and procedures. In this role you will prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will sign, date and perform all charting, record-keeping and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures. At Vetras we use a holistic, individualized approach in caring for residents who come to our community. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides outstanding customized care as residents are not the same nor should they be treated the same.  LPN Qualifications:  -Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state you are working  -Excellent communication skills  -Basic computer skills  -Experience with Point Click Care preferred    Night & Day Positions Available (12 hour shifts) 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
