Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s 1. Admission and Registration  1.1 Fully manages all student admission, enrolment, and re-registration processes to ensure accuracy,  transparency, and compliance with school and MoE policies.  1.2 Receives, verifies, and processes all student admission applications, ensuring required documents (birth records, previous school reports, transfer letters, and health records) are complete and valid.  1.3 Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date student records, including admission registers, class lists, attendance records, transfers, withdrawals, and graduation data.  1.4 Updates and manages student registration databases and files to support planning, reporting, and audits.  1.5 Prepares and submits enrolment statistics, demographic data, and required reports to school administration and the Ministry of Education (MoE) within stipulated timelines.  1.6 Serves as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians on admission, registration, transfer, and enrolment inquiries, providing clear guidance and timely feedback.  1.7 Ensures all eligible students in WAEC examination classes are properly registered on approved WAEC  platforms in accordance with national examination requirements.  1.8 Collects WAEC examination fees from students, issues official receipts, and maintains a detailed fee  collection register for accountability.  1.9 Deposits all WAEC examination fees into designated WAEC bank accounts promptly and submits proof of payment to school management.  1.10 Collects student admission and registration fees and submits all funds to the AML-designated Finance  Office with verified receipts and supporting documentation.  1.11 Works closely with academic staff to confirm accurate class placement, subject selection, and  examination eligibility of students.  1.12 Ensures confidentiality and safe storage of all student records in both physical and electronic formats.  1.13 Supports MoE inspections, audits, and school accreditation exercises by providing accurate enrolment and registration records.  1.14 Communicates admission timelines, registration requirements, and deadlines clearly to parents, students, and staff.  1.15 Reviews and improves admission and registration procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and  compliance with evolving MoE guidelines.  2. Extra-Curricular Activities  2.1 Plans, coordinates, and monitors all extracurricular and co-curricular programs in alignment with the  school’s educational objectives, values, and student development goals.  2.2 Works closely with school administrators to plan, approve, schedule, and prioritize extracurricular activities,  ensuring timely implementation and minimal disruption to academic programs.  2.3 Identifies, establishes, and develops appropriate clubs, sports, cultural, leadership, and enrichment  activities based on student needs, interests, age levels, and school priorities.  2.4 Oversees the organization and day-to-day functioning of all extracurricular activities, ensuring proper  supervision, clear structure, and adherence to school rules and policies.  2.5 Coordinates teachers, coaches, club patrons, and external facilitators to effectively support and deliver  approved extracurricular programs.  2.6 Develops activity schedules and duty rosters to ensure consistent supervision and effective use of facilities  and resources.  2.7 Monitors student participation, attendance, behavior, and engagement in extracurricular activities and  maintains accurate records for reporting and evaluation purposes.  2.8 Promotes inclusive participation by encouraging involvement of both boys and girls, students with different  abilities, and those with diverse interests.  2.9 Ensures student safety during extracurricular activities by enforcing safety guidelines, appropriate  discipline, and proper use of equipment and facilities.  2.10 Supports the organization of school events such as sports days, cultural programs, talent shows, club  exhibitions, and leadership activities.  2.11 Communicates extracurricular activity plans, schedules, expectations, and requirements clearly to  students, parents, and staff.  2.12 Evaluates the effectiveness of extracurricular programs and submits periodic reports to school leadership,  including recommendations for improvement and expansion.  2.13 Encourages positive values such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, responsibility, and sportsmanship  through structured activities and mentorship.  2.14 Ensures all extracurricular and co-curricular activities comply with school policies and the guidelines of the  Liberian Ministry of Education (MoE).  3. This is what we believe it takes to be the steel company of the future.  ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) is operating inside Liberia since 2006, where we are employing approximately 1600 employees and about 1000 contractors mainly in the area of security as well as in transactional manual work like Bush cutting keeping the railway and our concession area free of natural overgrowth, as well as putting tarpaulins on the railcars etc. In Liberia we are running operations, spread over three locations, our harbour, and our Main offices in Buchanan, and the Nimba region the mines, existing of multiple mining locations at Tokadeh, Gangar and Yuelliton and a Crushing plant and rail loading facility, serviced by our own accommodation settlement in Yekepa. These locations are all connected with a 260 km Railroad, operated, and managed by AML, as per the MDA between ArcelorMittal and the government of Liberia. Currently 5 mtpa iron ore (DSO -Direct Shipping Ore) are produced, which will be phased out in the next few years and replaced with Iron Ore Concentrate. The Phase 2 project aims to increase export of Iron Ore to 15 mtpa (concentrate). This was restarted end 2020 after it was put on hold in 2014 due to Ebola outbreak in. Significant civil construction work was already well advanced when the project was put on hold. Phase 2 of the project consist of an iron ore concentrator at the mine, rehabilitation and upgrade of Rail line, and a new iron ore bulk handling terminal in the port.
