Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s 1.    Operational Supervision: 1.1.    Supervise daily fuel management operations, including receipt, storage, and distribution. 1.2.    Oversee fuel clerks, drivers, and support staff to ensure efficient performance. 1.3.    Allocate tasks and monitor completion to meet operational requirements. 1.4.    Ensure adherence to shift schedules and workforce productivity. 2.    Fuel Inventory & Control: 2.1.    Monitor fuel stock levels and ensure accuracy of inventory records. 2.2.    Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly fuel reconciliations. 2.3.    Investigate discrepancies, variances, and fuel losses. 2.4.    Implement and enforce internal controls to prevent fuel theft or misuse. 2.5.    Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices. 3.    Fuel Supply & Distribution: 3.1.    Coordinate fuel supply to all operational areas to meet demand. 3.2.    Ensure efficient and timely fuel distribution across site operations. 3.3.    Monitor fuel consumption trends and support forecasting activities. 3.4.    Ensure correct quantities and quality of fuel delivered. 4.    Reporting & Documentation: 4.1.    Review and validate fuel reports (daily, weekly, monthly). 4.2.    Ensure accuracy and completeness of all fuel documentation. 4.3.    Prepare and submit performance and variance reports to the Superintendent. 4.4.    Maintain records in compliance with audit and company requirements. 5.    Team Leadership & Development: 5.1.    Supervise, coach, and guide fuel team members. 5.2.    Monitor performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and compliance. 5.3.    Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and safety requirements. 5.4.    Support training and development of staff. 6.    Compliance & Governance: 6.1.    Enforce company policies, procedures, and fuel management standards. 6.2.    Maintain audit readiness and support internal/external audits. 6.3.    Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls. 6.4.    Support continuous improvement initiatives within fuel operations. 6.5.    Participate in audits and implement corrective actions. 7.    Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: 7.1.    Liaise with operations, logistics, and maintenance teams for fuel planning 7.2.    Communicate fuel availability, challenges, and risks effectively 7.3.    Coordinate with procurement or supply teams for fuel replenishment 8.    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 8.1.    Accuracy of fuel inventory and reconciliation reports. 8.2.    Reduction of fuel variances and losses. 8.3.    Timeliness and reliability of fuel supply to operations. 8.4.    Team productivity and performance. 8.5.    Compliance with safety, environmental, and audit standards. This is what we believe it takes to be the steel company of the future.  ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) is operating inside Liberia since 2006, where we are employing approximately 1600 employees and about 1000 contractors mainly in the area of security as well as in transactional manual work like Bush cutting keeping the railway and our concession area free of natural overgrowth, as well as putting tarpaulins on the railcars etc. In Liberia we are running operations, spread over three locations, our harbour, and our Main offices in Buchanan, and the Nimba region the mines, existing of multiple mining locations at Tokadeh, Gangar and Yuelliton and a Crushing plant and rail loading facility, serviced by our own accommodation settlement in Yekepa. These locations are all connected with a 260 km Railroad, operated, and managed by AML, as per the MDA between ArcelorMittal and the government of Liberia. Currently 5 mtpa iron ore (DSO -Direct Shipping Ore) are produced, which will be phased out in the next few years and replaced with Iron Ore Concentrate. The Phase 2 project aims to increase export of Iron Ore to 15 mtpa (concentrate). This was restarted end 2020 after it was put on hold in 2014 due to Ebola outbreak in. Significant civil construction work was already well advanced when the project was put on hold. Phase 2 of the project consist of an iron ore concentrator at the mine, rehabilitation and upgrade of Rail line, and a new iron ore bulk handling terminal in the port.
