Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s  1. Instructional Duties  1.1 Plan and prepare detailed schemes of work and well-structured Further Mathematics lesson plans for Senior High School students, with instructional support to Junior High School mathematics as assigned, in accordance with the Ministry of Education (MoE) curriculum and approved assessment standards.  1.2 Deliver effective mathematics instruction that develops students’ mastery of advanced mathematical concepts,  including algebra, calculus, trigonometry, geometry, statistics, and logical reasoning, with emphasis on accuracy and conceptual understanding.  1.3 Promote analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning through worked examples, guided practice, and independent problem-solving activities.  1.4 Support Junior High School students, when assigned, by reinforcing foundational mathematics concepts to ensure continuity and readiness for Senior High School studies.  1.5 Assess, mark, and evaluate students’ classwork, homework, tests, projects, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance.  2.1 Monitor and assess children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.  2.2 Provide individualized support to children with learning challenges or special needs.  1.6 Set meaningful and appropriately challenging homework and independent practice tasks aligned with syllabus objectives, student ability levels, and school homework policy.  1.7 Develop, administer, and grade formal and informal assessments, including quizzes, continuous assessments, mock examinations, and performance tasks.  1.8 Prepare and support science students for WASSCE examinations by covering syllabus requirements, conducting revision sessions, administering past questions, and teaching examination techniques.  1.9 Promote high standards of behavior, discipline, and academic integrity, fostering a focused, respectful, and productive learning environment.  1.10 Serve as a professional role model by demonstrating enthusiasm, precision, and commitment to mathematics, encouraging positive attitudes toward the subject.  1.11 Integrate appropriate teaching aids, textbooks, calculators, charts, and digital tools to enhance lesson delivery and deepen conceptual understanding.  1.12 Monitor student performance through continuous assessment and identify learners needing remedial or enrichment support, providing additional guidance where necessary.  1.13 Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to support curriculum implementation, academic improvement initiatives, and student discipline.  1.14 Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor(s) in support of effective teaching, learning, and examination preparedness.  2. This is what we believe it takes to be the steel company of the future.  ArcelorMittal Liberia (AML) is operating inside Liberia since 2006, where we are employing approximately 1600 employees and about 1000 contractors mainly in the area of security as well as in transactional manual work like Bush cutting keeping the railway and our concession area free of natural overgrowth, as well as putting tarpaulins on the railcars etc. In Liberia we are running operations, spread over three locations, our harbour, and our Main offices in Buchanan, and the Nimba region the mines, existing of multiple mining locations at Tokadeh, Gangar and Yuelliton and a Crushing plant and rail loading facility, serviced by our own accommodation settlement in Yekepa. These locations are all connected with a 260 km Railroad, operated, and managed by AML, as per the MDA between ArcelorMittal and the government of Liberia. Currently 5 mtpa iron ore (DSO -Direct Shipping Ore) are produced, which will be phased out in the next few years and replaced with Iron Ore Concentrate. The Phase 2 project aims to increase export of Iron Ore to 15 mtpa (concentrate). This was restarted end 2020 after it was put on hold in 2014 due to Ebola outbreak in. Significant civil construction work was already well advanced when the project was put on hold. Phase 2 of the project consist of an iron ore concentrator at the mine, rehabilitation and upgrade of Rail line, and a new iron ore bulk handling terminal in the port.
Responsibilities
