Create lesson plans aligned with applicable standards and student needs, incorporating diverse teaching methods and activities to cater to different learning styles. Instructional delivery. Teach concepts clearly and effectively, utilizing visual aids, technology, and real-world applications to enhance understanding. Student assessment. Regularly monitor student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and class participation to identify strengths and areas needing additional support. Individualized learning. Required Skills: Have experience working with international students Utilize ESL strategies to support English language development Foster an inclusive, supportive, and Christ-centered learning environment Demonstrate a commitment to nurturing the whole child — academically, socially, and spiritually WIDA Testing & Compliance: Administer and coordinate WIDA ACCESS assessments, including test preparation, scheduling, and compliance with testing protocols. Analyze WIDA data to inform instruction and determine student placement, progress, and program exit readiness. Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with families, including multilingual communication when needed, regarding student progress, expectations, and program updates. Teacher/Onboarding Support: Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers on ESL strategies, accommodations, and best practices for multilingual learners. Support onboarding and transition of new international students in collaboration with admissions and faculty.
