PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: DRAMATIC ARTS AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

Step into the spotlight! Our Dramatic Arts Program invites students to explore their creativity and build confidence through improvisation, role-playing, movement, and storytelling. Designed for all experience levels, this program helps children express themselves, collaborate with others, and bring characters to life on stage.
Each session includes dynamic theatre games, voice and movement exercises, and scene creation activities that encourage imagination and teamwork. Students will learn the fundamentals of performance while developing important life skills like communication, empathy, and self-expression.

POSITION OVERVIEW: DRAMATIC ARTS AFTERSCHOOL INSTRUCTOR

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated instructor to lead our after-school Dramatic Arts sessions. If you love theatre, enjoy working with kids, and are passionate about helping students build confidence and creativity, this is the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities
  • Lead fun, interactive dramatic arts activities, including improvisation, role-playing, storytelling, and movement exercises
  • Teach students the fundamentals of theatre and performance in an engaging and age-appropriate way
  • Encourage teamwork, creativity, and confidence through group and individual activities
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels safe to express themselves
  • Prepare and organize materials before each session; clean up after sessions
  • Track attendance and provide brief reports as needed
