They are responsible for coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. Communicate vital information in front of large groups Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa Set goals for performance and deadlines in way that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates Ensure 5S standards are established and being followed Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks Keep all employees safe and trained to be compliant with safety procedures Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching Receive complaints and resolve problems Prepare and submit performance reports Give input on rewards and promotions based on performance Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises Other Responsibilities: Work towards continuous improvement through lean practices Hire and train new employees Maintain timekeeping and personnel records Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in business administration, management or related fields, preferred Three or more years of supervision or leadership experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills Solid understanding of OEE fundamentals Strong ability to handle employee safety and safety concerns Strong forward-thinking abilities Ability to adapt to constant changing situations Thorough and accurate reporting mindset Strong communication skills Strong organizational and follow-up skills Excellent professional presence and work ethic Excellent leadership skills and qualities Preferred Qualifications: Work Environment: This position is typically located in a warehouse setting.
