[What the role is] Manager, Intelligent Building Systems [What you will be working on] To lead the planning, implementation, commissioning, and operational transition of Building Automation and Intelligent Building systems across LTA’s office assets. The role ensures seamless integration of IBMS, Smart FM systems, occupancy-based controls, workplace analytics, and sustainability features to support LTA’s Smart Campus objectives of enhanced workplace experience, energy savings, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible to: Lead requirements development, design coordination and system integration for IBMS, Workplace Analytics systems, ACMV controls, lighting, environmental sensors, security and workplace experience technologies. Review digital deliverables including BIM/AIM and ensure readiness for FM operations. Manage the data analytics from multiple sources (eg IoT sensors, in-house required to achieve Intelligent Building system objectives and outcomes. Oversee integration and testing of IBMS, Workplace Analytics System & Smart FM technologies, Testing and Commissioning of individual building sub-systems, performance verification and achievement of sustainability targets (e.g., energy savings, Green Mark SLE design intent). Manage contractors, vendors, consultants and liaise with internal technical teams to ensure compliance with intended Intelligent Building System objectives and outcomes. Ensure comprehensive development of concept of operations for Intelligent Building systems, O&M documentation, training, SOPs to enable smooth transition into FM Operations. Optimise operational performance using sensor/occupancy data, IAQ data and energy dashboards Develop FM procurement strategy and incorporate technical requirements for IFM contracts and lifecycle maintenance planning for the Smart Building solutions. [What we are looking for] Knowledge in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Building Automation, Facility Management or related fields. At least 5 years of experience in building automation, with a proven track record in implementing Smart Building commercial office projects. Certifications (Green Mark Accredited Professional, Singapore Certified Energy Manager) would be an advantage Strong knowledge of IBMS/BMS, ACMV controls, lighting control, IAQ/occupancy sensors and security-system interfaces. Experience with BIM/AIM (6D), T&C processes and Implementation of Smart Building Technologies in Commercial Office developments. Knowledge of IT system architecture for Smart Building solutions Familiarity with sustainability design (Green Mark SLE), occupancy-based energy controls, operational analytics Strong stakeholder and vendor management. Analytical, structured, and systems-thinking mindset.
