[What the role is] [LTA – FIN] MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER, FINANCIAL PLANNING [What you will be working on] You will be part of the 2 Financial Planning team responsible to ensure governance and controls for Rail-related initiatives/schemes as well as all budgeting and funding matters. Your roles are as follows: a) Provide financial and funding advisory to LTA Groups, to enhance quality of funding proposals for Rail related initiatives/schemes (e.g. suggesting best practices and cost optimisation opportunities). b) Partner with LTA Groups and contribute to the governance, analysis, and reporting of Rail related initiatives/schemes’ budgets and mid-term expenditure projections. c) Run operations relating to the Rail Infrastructure Fund and Railway Sinking Fund, including annual reporting of expenditure estimates and Funds’ statuses to senior management. d) Perform secretarial duties including prioritisation of funding proposals across LTA, and monitoring of statuses of funding proposals for reporting to senior management. e) Contribute to the drive for continuous improvements by proposing digitalisation initiatives to streamline existing business processes. [What we are looking for] Knowledge in Accountancy/Business Administration/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA, Chartered Accountant. Preferably 3 or more years of relevant working experience. Good working knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and internal controls. Good analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous and a team player. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact across different internal & external stakeholders and at all levels. Data analytics knowledge will be an advantage.
