[What the role is] ASSISTANT MANAGER, RECORDS MANAGEMENT [What you will be working on] The LTA’s Knowledge Management (KM) Division embraces the power of change and drives LTA toward a knowledge and digital-ready organisation. As part of the Records Management (RM) section in the KM Division, you will be working in a flexible and result-oriented environment with a good teamwork culture. Your main work goal is to push for a sustainable RM culture and governance across LTA, ensuring that records are managed in accordance to the Instruction Manual on Management of Public Records (IM4L) provisions and LTA’s RM best practices. In addition, you are also expected to contribute to digital initiatives to plan and transform operational efficiencies in records management. Key Responsibilities • Provides advisory to LTA Groups on RM matters such as records filing, appraisals, file classifications and promote best records management practices • Provides advisory to system owners and appraise their systems in accordance with established standards such as IM4L and IM8 for these systems to contain records. • Manages and coordinates disposition of hardcopies with user divisions and vendor • Manages transfer of digital records that have passed retention • Supports internal and external audit and facilitate closure of gaps • Liaises with the National Archives of Singapore (NAS) to ensure LTA’s records management processes such as records and file classification appraisal, transfer, disposition and declassification comply with statutory requirements. • Utilises emerging technologies to modernise and optimise LTA’s records management processes • Develops systematic records declassification approach and structure and perform records declassifications in accordance with IM4L procedures [What we are looking for] Requirements: Has at least 2-5 years of relevant RM experience will be advantageous Has good working knowledge of RM concepts and principles Critical thinker, high attention to detail, focused and reliable. Experience in using artificial intelligence, robotic process automation (RPA), or machine learning technologies is beneficial for effectively leveraging advanced tools and techniques in records management processes.
