[What the role is] [LTA-PT] DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, CROSS BORDER RAIL REGULATION [What you will be working on] The Cross Border Rail Regulation Division is responsible for the regulation of the cross border rail, including the regulatory requirements, as well as monitoring the performance of rail operator in operating and maintaining Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (JB-SG RTS Link). You will be part of a dynamic team directly involved in ensuring safe train services on the RTS Link. As a key member of the dynamic team, you will be directly involved in the: a) Developing and reviewing of bilateral regulatory requirements. b) Verification of operator’s safety submissions. c) Carrying out audits and inspections. d) Reviewing and analysis of regulatory reports. e) Monitoring of rail operator’s performance. f) Conducting of regulatory investigation into rail incidents. [What we are looking for] • Knowledge in Engineering. • Highly adaptable team player who is able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Ability to engage and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders. • Self-motivated, astute, meticulous, adaptable and resourceful. • Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Good communication (both oral and written) as well as presentation skills. • Proficiency and competency in performing risk assessments, audits and inspections, regulatory compliance, emergency planning, maintenance and operations will be an advantage. • Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Candidates with leadership skills and strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles.
