[What the role is] [LTA=T&ID] EPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT [What you will be working on] You will be part of the team under the Technology Management Division in LTA. The Technology Management Division supports LTA’s management in developing the processes and governance in the execution of technology projects to realise long term strategic outcomes for the land transport domain. As part of the team, you will work closely with the stakeholders to develop the technology roadmap and technology investment plans. The team will also lead or take part in project management work for proof-of-concept trials which LTA may embark with its technology collaborators. The team will perform horizon scanning on the technology landscape for land transport. This will systematically pick up emerging technology trends, and identify and monitor potential disruptive technologies that may impact the current land transport system. The work will also require regular touchpoints with senior management to apprise them on the overall status of key developments. [What we are looking for] • Knowledge in engineering, development of technology roadmap and technology investment plans. • Strong writing, analytical, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills • At least 2 years relevant working experience in technical project management • Ability to analyse and interpret technical data into reports/presentation and respond to any queries about the results will be an advantage • Resourceful with a strong command of English as well as good writing and presentation skills is strongly preferred • Team player and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Have a passion in identifying innovative technological solutions to overcome urban land transport system challenges • Experience in developing research and development roadmaps will be an advantage As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment. http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
