[What the role is] ACTIVE MOBILITY ENFORCEMENT OFFICER [What you will be working on] As an Enforcement Officer with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), you will have the opportunity to work independently or in a team to patrol public roads and paths, and take enforcement action against motor vehicle and active mobility device users who violate rules and regulations. As an ambassador of LTA, you will also play a crucial role in engaging and educating users on the various LTA schemes that promote the responsible use of such vehicles and devices. You will positively impact the community in ensuring safer roads and paths for everyone. Selected candidates will undergo a 3-4 week course (including a written competency test) to gain the knowledge and skills needed to carry out their duties. [What we are looking for] Applicant with relevant knowledge and experience in enforcement, operations and public-facing roles could also be considered. Applicants with a proven track record may qualify for more senior roles. Possessing a Class 2A licence and above will be an advantage. Physically fit, possess good eyesight and normal colour vision. Have a positive attitude, good self-discipline and ability to work independently and in a team. Good written, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Able to remain composed and problem solve under challenging circumstances. Able to perform shift and adhoc duties, including supporting major national events on public holidays. Able to assume varied enforcement-related postings within the Authority. Must be able to communicate in English.
