Your role includes:

• Regulating LTA-authorised vehicle inspection centres (VICOM, STA, JIC) to ensure that they comply with regulatory requirements and performance standards in conducting mandatory vehicle inspections
• Monitoring of vehicle safety recalls (electronic vehicle recall system) to ensure that motor dealers/ importers follow up with the recall notifications for affected vehicles registered in Singapore
• Overseeing LTA-appointed vehicle scrapping centres to ensure that they comply with stipulated requirements and performance standards in scrapping de-registered vehicles for proper disposal
• Attending to written, telephone or walk-in feedback on vehicle-related matters from members of publi
