JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will have experience in various medical settings. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a passion for enhancing patient outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  • Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
  • Critical care experience is highly desirable, including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure.
  • Knowledge of various nursing specialties such as geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, and emergency medicine is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
  • Ability to perform essential nursing functions including venipuncture, specimen collection/processing, airway management, and physical examinations.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care is beneficial.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
  • Assist in triaging patients in emergency or critical care settings.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and education to enhance nursing skills.
