PLEASE NOTE - your qualifications must be current as of the date of this posting, i.e., if you are currently enrolled in the course or if you are in the midst of the course, you are NOT eligible to apply to this posting.
Candidates who are qualified and interested may apply to this vacancy. The Human Resources Department will forward all ELIGIBLE applications to the Principal (see above). Long term occasional teachers in an assignment greater than eighty (80) instructional days or four (4) months in duration, are eligible for up to five (5) full unpaid days per school year.
Long term occasional teachers in an assignment greater than thirty (30) instructional days but less than eighty (80) instructional days in duration will be eligible to take up to one (1) unpaid day during the term of their assignment.
Please note that such days will not be granted to extend the December or March break and cannot be split into partial days. These days must be requested through Human Resources Services according to the timelines outlined in the Collective Agreement.
Pay for a teaching position at the WRDSB is in alignment with the terms of the Central Agreement with ETFO. The pay is based on QECO qualifications and years of experience (as approved by the board), as outlined in this .
