APH offers customized services for Medicaid, Medicare, and the ACA/Marketplace lines of business.       POSITION PURPOSE     The Long-Term Support & Services (LTSS) Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing, optimizing, and expanding operational programs that drive improved patient outcomes within the organization’s long-term support services portfolio. This role is central to advancing the company’s mission across facility-based programs.  The LTSS Operations Manager will lead the Respiratory Care Coordinator teams, foster high-level provider engagement, and implement performance improvement initiatives across a diverse customer base, including Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), skilled nursing facilities, and other long-term care partners. The role requires exceptional leadership, deep clinical and regulatory knowledge, and the ability to translate performance data into actionable operational improvements.  The ideal candidate is a collaborative strategist who can manage multiple concurrent projects, align resources to meet contractual commitments, and ensure that every program achieves targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.        DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES    Clinical & Operational Oversight  * Provide day-to-day leadership for the Respiratory Care Coordinator team, ensuring optimal workflow, professional development, and performance accountability. * Conduct quarterly quality audits and clinical reviews to verify compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. * Oversee member assessments, ensuring accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and timely submission to meet MCO and facility requirements. * Maintain strong clinical oversight for programs, incorporating best practices in respiratory care, patient monitoring, and outcomes improvement. Provider & Customer Engagement  * Develop and maintain strategic relationships with facility administrators, clinical staff, and MCO representatives to ensure continuous program improvement and customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with providers to identify care gaps and implement targeted interventions that improve patient quality of life and reduce avoidable hospitalizations. * Communicate best practice updates based on evolving standards of care, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with organizational goals. Performance Improvement & Data Management  * Lead the design and implementation of facility-specific Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), ensuring measurable results. * Monitor and analyze KPI trends, patient satisfaction surveys, and program-specific data to identify opportunities for operational optimization and cost savings. * Coordinate with administration to generate comprehensive quarterly and monthly reports for MCO partners, detailing outcomes, facility performance, and cost-efficiency metrics. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance  * Maintain expert-level understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements for skilled nursing facilities and respiratory care services. * Ensure all programs comply with HIPAA, patient confidentiality requirements, and other applicable healthcare regulations. * Implement and enforce clinical protocols that support safety, efficacy, and patient-centered care. Staff Leadership & Development  * Conduct weekly team meetings to review successes, identify areas for improvement, and align staff activities with organizational objectives. * Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training to enhance staff capabilities and promote career development. * Ensure team adherence to productivity, documentation, and professional conduct standards.     SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS  * Five (5+) years of experience in respiratory care. * Three (3+) years in a leadership or program management role strongly preferred. * Proven track record in utilization management, quality improvement, and clinical operations oversight. * Exceptional communication, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills. * Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities with a capacity to manage multiple concurrent priorities. * Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of working with electronic health records (EHR) and remote monitoring technologies. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing demands. * Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and HIPAA-compliant data handling practices. * Reliable transportation for patient visits.   EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION  * Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, respiratory therapy, or related field required. * Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, respiratory therapy, or related field preferred. * Graduate of an approved American Medical Association (AMA)-accredited school for respiratory care by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). * Current, active, and unencumbered state licensure as a certified respiratory therapist, registered respiratory therapist, or respiratory care practitioner (CRT/RRT/RCP) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).  * Valid and unrestricted driver’s license. * Proof of current auto insurance coverage.   BENEFITS & TOTAL REWARDS  * Paid Orientation and Training  * Insurance – Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life * 401k Plan – 3% match * Employee Assistance Program * Tuition Reimbursement * Continued Education Support * Mileage Reimbursement (if applicable) * Referral Bonuses * Paid Holidays (9 days) * Paid Time Off (20 days) * Paid Volunteer Hours    CHARACTER & COMPETENCIES  * Courage – To have the courage to the right thing at the right time. * Ownership – To take ownership of every issue you touch. * Respect – To respect yourself, co-workers, and for those whom you care. * Excellence – To be excellent in all that you do. * Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy;
