Position Title: Lube Technician/Automotive Apprentice
Status: Full-Time Permanent
Location: 9 Macintosh Ave, Port Hawkesbury, NS

As part of our exciting shop expansion, we’ve recently upgraded our facility with modern equipment to serve our clients even better. Now that we’ve grown our space, we want to grow our team. We’re looking for reliable team-players who are passionate about automotive repair and are willing to learn. We are currently looking to add a Lube Technician/Automotive Apprentice to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
  • Applying lubricants to applicable parts of vehicle engines, including oil change, to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
  • Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks.
  • Notifying the Service Manager when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within scheduled timeframes.
  • Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
  • Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
  • Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspection.
  • Identify any observed malfunctions and inform the Service Manager of required repair.
  • Review and analyze actions regularly to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
  • Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations
