JOB OVERVIEW:

Bennett GM is seeking a Lube Technician to join our service team. The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid top-offs, with the occasional tire rotations, and multi-point inspections. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their automotive career in a professional and fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced automotive repairs.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have a valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC vehicles is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Perform oil changes, occasional tire rotations, and fluid checks on GM and other vehicles.
  • Conduct multi-point inspections and identify potential vehicle issues.
  • Inspect and replace air filters, wiper blades, and cabin filters as needed.
  • Ensure proper tire pressure adjustments and perform basic tire services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow manufacturer and dealership service procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with basic repairs and service tasks as directed by senior technicians.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and explain services performed when necessary.
  • Work efficiently to maintain quick turnaround times in a fast-paced setting.
