We are seeking a dependable and energetic Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team with maintenance upkeep in Salt Lake City. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a passion for automotive care, especially in lube tech and general maintenance tasks. You’ll work closely with the Mechanic Supervisor to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and running smoothly.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and parts.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Personal tools and secure toolbox preferred.

• Perform routine maintenance including:

• Oil changes

• Tire rotations and replacements
• Filter replacements
• 
  
  
  
• Fluid checks and top-offs

• Assist with preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
• Support basic mechanical repairs under supervision.
• Maintain vehicle appearance through cleaning and light cosmetic upkeep.
• Keep shop equipment and tools in working order by following usage guidelines and reporting issues.
• Help manage inventory by tracking supplies and assisting with orders.
• Record services performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
