About You We are looking for a Lube Technician to join our team! The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and a desire to provide superb customer service.

Primary Accountabilities The day-to-day duties of this role include:

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency, accuracy, and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Perform routine maintenance, including:
  • Changing oil and filters
  • Checking transmission and other fluid levels
  • Inspecting and replacing bulbs, belts, and hoses
  • Check air levels and gauges
  • Assessing, adjusting, and cleaning brakes
  • Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts
  • Inform service advisor of any additional safety concerns regarding customer vehicles
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Keeps shop area neat and clean

LUBE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent, ASE certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Lube Technician
  • Dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Excellent customer service skills, positive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improve
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
