Description

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of customer satisfaction. This entry-level role supports the service department by completing routine oil changes, inspections, and light maintenance while maintaining dealership quality standards. JOB TITLE: Lube Technician REPORTS TO: Service Manager LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards * Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors * Check and top off vehicle fluids including transmission, coolant, brake, and windshield washer fluids * Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate tires as needed * Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and bulbs * Conduct battery testing and replacement when necessary * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment * Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations * Accurately document services performed and report any additional repair needs * Support other technicians as needed with general shop duties WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Previous automotive experience or technical training is a plus but not required * Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and systems preferred * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicl * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Dependable with a strong work ethic * Good communication and teamwork skills * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods HERE’S HOW WE TAKE CARE OF YOU (AND YOUR LOVED ONES): * Medical, dental, and vision benefits * Voluntary benefits available * Relocation Assistance * Paid time off upon hire * Paid company holidays * 401(k) with employer match * Growth potential * Automotive discounts IF YOU ARE QUALIFIED, YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: An Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V.
