The Lube Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the proper maintenance and performance of vehicles by performing routine lubrication and oil change services. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and lubrication procedures. * Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions for extended periods. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar automotive service role. * Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent. * Familiarity with computerized service systems and inventory management. * Excellent communication skills and customer service experience. * Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities: * Perform oil changes, lubrication, and other routine maintenance services on customer vehicles according to manufacturer specifications. * Inspect vehicles for potential issues such as fluid leaks, tire wear, and other maintenance needs, and communicate findings to customers or service advisors. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of used oil and other materials in compliance with environmental regulations. * Operate service equipment safely and efficiently, including lifts, oil dispensers, and hand tools. * Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, explaining services performed, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Skills: The Lube Technician uses technical skills daily to perform precise oil changes and lubrication services, ensuring vehicles operate smoothly and safely. Strong mechanical aptitude allows the technician to identify potential vehicle issues during routine inspections and communicate these effectively to customers or team members.
