AUTOMOTIVE LUBE TECHNICIAN SERVICE ADVISOR

This is a skilled automotive service advisor work position. Work involves dealing with customers, advising them on any services that need to be performed on their vehicle. You will also be responsible for cashing out the customers as well as entering their vehicle specification into our system. This position is bonus based which combined works out to 21.00 $/hr (17.50 + 3.50 bonus) Bonus is achieved by meeting set sales targets, showing up on time and completing all tasks assigned through the week.
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Take 5 Oil Change, you will be performing the following duties and responsibilities:
-Type in vehicle information and advise the customer on what oil is best suited for their vehicle, as well as inform them of any services that need to be performed on their car.
-Pour oil in vehicles, check all fluid levels.
-Perform Transmission services, Radiator flushes, check air and cabin air filters
-Opening and closing the store as per company procedures.
-Make sure products are in good order and accessible for fast and quality service to customers.
-Review customer vehicle requirements in our software, and make sure that proper products have been used on each vehicle during the service. This is a requirement to keep customers vehicle warranty intact.
-Follow Take 5 Oil Change standard operating procedures on each vehicle serviced.

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS :

Thorough knowledge and skill in the use of all types of mechanical shop tools, coolant system servicing equipment, transmission servicing equipment, and differential and driveline servicing equipment are required. Use of this equipment is required to keep all new vehicle warranty intact as well as provide preventative maintenance to all other vehicles on the road outside of warranty. Very good mechanical aptitude, coordination and dexterity and good physical condition are important in this position.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

-Completion of Secondary School is required
-Experience is an asset
