Hickey’s Timber Mart is a Newfoundland owned and operated family business selling building materials since 1973, with 4 locations.
We are looking for highly motivated and well-organized employees to join our team at our local store.
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Assist Customers with the safe loading and unloading of their vehicles in a timely manner
- Ensure Yard/Warehouse are maintained while keeping areas free of garbage and debris
- Assist delivery driver with delivery of materials to customers
- Assist with other duties as required or assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a lumber yard or warehouse setting preferred
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and pick lists
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks
- Forklift license an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
