JOB OVERVIEW

The Yard Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the yard, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while coordinating the movement of materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and warehouse distribution, along with a solid understanding of mechanical processes.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience in warehouse distribution processes including loading/unloading materials.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and safety practices.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
