The John McGivney Children’s Centre School Authority is seeking to hire qualified candidates for the following CASUAL/CALL IN positions:

• Assist school staff in the classroom and lunchroom with young students with special needs.
• Perform duties of personal care for students, including feeding, lifting, and toileting.
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
• QUALIFICATIONS: Some college level courses (preference will be given to persons with special education training or with an early childhood education diploma).
• Preference given to persons that have worked with students in a special education setting.
• Proven ability to follow directions, policies and procedures in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Able to learn and adopt new technologies rapidly (re: Classroom Support Duties).
• Must be available a minimum of three days a week.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. comfortably.
