Responsibilities

Solera in Waikiki is seeking a Line Cook to join our team’s lunch service.

We ask that our staff take initiative, act with integrity, and work together to uphold and build upon our standards. The position is full-time and can include production shifts.

  • 1+ years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Must have basic knife skills.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation and safety policies and procedures regarding food handling.
  • Ability to perform physical work that requires continuous standing, walking, and lifting 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions. Be able to communicate clearly with managers, and kitchen staff.
  • Prepare food items, ensuring consistency and compliance with the Chef’s standards.
  • Ability to relate to a diverse range of people with patience and understanding.
  • Knowledge and understanding of maintenance and equipment/space cleaning requirements.
