Description Position Summary Gilbert Christian Schools has an immediate need for a part-time (15 hours per week) Lunchroom Aide. The Lunchroom Aide supports the daily lunch program by helping manage the distribution of vendor-provided meals and supervising students during lunch periods. This role ensures a safe, orderly, and positive dining environment that reflects the school’s Christian values in accordance with school policies. Job Responsibilities Oversee all lunch and lunch room activities Assists in Lunch Menu set up Assists in ordering lunches Overseeing volunteers Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required Basic knowledge of computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets. Excellent customer service skills required with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to understand and deal effectively with students, faculty and others. Ability to maintain detailed records and prepare reports. Requirements Position & Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance (IVP) card required Personal Qualities Growing in his or her personal relationship with Christ and function as a Christian role model to students. Must align with the vision and values of Gilbert Christian Schools and the Statement of Faith. Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Gilbert Christian Schools, students, employees, defined by the Employee Handbook. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, walk; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to forty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
