WESTBORO ACADEMY IS SEEKING COUNSELLORS FOR ITS LUNCH CARE PROGRAM FROM 11:40-12:40 MONDAY TO FRIDAY. WE PROVIDE BEFORE, LUNCH, AFTER-SCHOOL CARE, PD CAMPS, AND MARCH AND JUNE CAMPS FOR CHILDREN IN GRADES JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 6 WITHIN THE SCHOOL ITSELF. THE PROGRAM OFFERS MANY DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE IN INCLUDING ARTS AND CRAFTS, OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SPORTS, DRAMA AND MORE! BY JOINING OUR TEAM THIS WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT IN FUTURE APPLICATIONS WITH A STRONG EMPLOYER TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS TO SUCCEED.

Primary Duties Include:
The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities are to supervise children and youth during outdoor lunch duty, and also provide as back up if needed in our Before and After care program

Requirements:

• A valid standard first aid and CPR/AED certificate
• Experience in working with children and youth
• A current Police Record Check- Vulnerable Sector
• Must be able to work lunch shift from 11:40-12:40
• An understanding of child development
