KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Look for opportunities to drive sales and increase profit. Manage your time alongside your Manager to ensure priorities are balanced and achieved.
  • Deputise for Multi/Dual Site or Store Manager as and when required, working closely together to ensure an aligned and unified management style and KPI focus across store.
  • Role model Brand standards, setting expectations to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Equip teams to implement and maintain visual and trading guidelines, windows schemes and any promotional activity to the highest standards within instructed timelines.
  • Use financial data and market knowledge for your Store to make commercial suggestions and decisions.
  • Endorse the importance of KPIs to ensure everyone is focused on achieving great results, sharing current performance and driving teams to strive for better.
  • Build strong relationships both internally and externally. Work closely with your Multi/Dual Site or Store Manager to maximise your stores performance. Liaising directly with your Head of Retail Trading when appropriate.
  • Build local relationships to maximise store specific knowledge, marketing opportunities and information and support.
  • Understand the customer profile, local market, operations for your store and adjust your approach and commercial decisions as appropriate.
  • Maximise multi-channel opportunities to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.

Operations

  • Drive operational excellence Front and Back of House, ensuring your teams are aware and understand requirements regarding legal & Company standards compliance.
  • Ensure all admin duties e.g. delivery management, cash handling, administration and delivery paperwork, payroll and host processes are completed to required standard.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the store and that robust systems are in place to protect the business.
  • Minimise stock loss and product markdown through good operational and team practices.

Team

  • Work closely with your Multi/Dual Site or Store Manager to ensure resources, focuses and objectives are aligned – be proactive in sharing ideas suggestion and raising any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, train and develop outstanding teams who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving great results.
  • Maximise the use of all L&D tools available to create a safe, informed and motivated team. Driving excellent service through product knowledge and visual training.
  • Recognise expectations set for all team members, giving regular feedback and supporting with development, identify and tackle performance issues in line with Company policies.
  • Maintain clear channels of communication with teams across all sites to ensure key operational activity is delivered and the teams feel informed, empowered and supported.
  • Delegate as appropriate, to ensure initiative is taken, activities are completed, and excellent standards are maintained.
  • Consistently review scheduling and team rotas to ensure the most effective use of resources.
