Job Description Minor Hotels is seeking a Luxury Leisure Sales Manager to lead international high-yield revenue generation across its ultra-luxury safari lodges and camps. This is a strategic commercial role, responsible for shaping global luxury leisure strategy, expanding brand presence within elite luxury travel networks, and driving sustainable revenue growth while protecting brand integrity and ADR. As the commercial ambassador for the ultra-luxury safari portfolio, you will represent Anantara Lodges across key global markets and luxury platforms, strengthening strategic partnerships and positioning the brand as a benchmark within the global luxury safari segment. Global Luxury Market Leadership Develop and execute a multi-year international luxury leisure sales strategy across the USA, UK, Europe, and emerging UHNW markets. Implement structured territory coverage plans with measurable ROI. Represent Minor Hotels Africa at premier luxury travel trade events (ILTM, PURE, Loop Show, DONG, Safari Pro, We Are Africa, FITUR, ITB, and others). Expand presence within elite travel networks, private client advisors, luxury consortia, and Africa safari specialist associations. Identify white-space markets and new opportunities for ultra-luxury safari growth Strategic Partnerships & Account Development Build executive-level relationships with top-producing luxury Africa specialists and UHNW travel advisors. Curate preferred partnerships aligned to brand standards and commercial frameworks. Negotiate agreements while safeguarding rate integrity. Implement structured development plans for top global luxury producers and measure ROI on trade investments and FAM programmes. Brand Positioning & Market Authority Position Anantara’s ultra-luxury safari portfolio as a global benchmark experience. Ensure consistent messaging around conservation, privacy, design excellence, and personalised service. Protect selective distribution to maintain brand scarcity and desirability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 10 years’ experience in luxury hospitality or high-end experiential travel sales. Proven track record selling ultra-luxury safari camps Demonstrated international territory leadership and global trade representation experience. Established network within luxury Africa specialists and luxury travel advisor communities (Virtuoso, Traveller Made, Signature Travel, FHR, etc.). Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy. Willingness to travel internationally 60%+ of the time.
