CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience in new homes and remodeling
  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • Proven team leader
  • Track record of win/win outcomes in conflict situations

Responsibilities
  • Utilize existing and new residential construction building technologies and software
  • Oversee daily operations of foremen, field personnel, and subcontractors on assigned jobs
  • Attentively inspect quality control by conducting periodic job site visits
  • Be on time for appointments, and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
  • Ensure all projects are constructed in accordance with plans, specifications and local codes
  • Maintain client and sub relationships in collaboration with preconstruction and the Production Manager
  • Communicate project schedules, detail, and change orders to clients
  • Purchase materials, procure equipment, and forecast personnel needs for assigned jobsites
  • Coordinate material deliveries and ensure all materials are available and onsite for assigned jobs
  • Monitor each project budget vs costs and communicate financial performance to the preconstruction team
  • Report production needs or team/people care concerns to the Production Manager
  • Collaborate with preconstruction and A/R to resolve billing questions and assist in receiving payment
  • Work safely and do what is necessary to keep others working safely throughout the company
  • Drive safely and do what is necessary to keep others driving safely throughout the company
