LV Switchgear Commissioning Engineer

OVERVIEW

Verbal and written communication skills in English. Minimum, Diploma in ‘s of Cx experience as a lead Cx engineer, of LV Switchgear & UPS, experienced with Cx/completions software.
Position is responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of low-voltage (LV) switchgear and distribution systems. The role ensures that all LV electrical equipment functions according to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. The engineer will also troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform system setup & verification, and document all commissioning activities.
A proven track record in similar environment and/or team.

• Perform insulation resistance testing, contact resistance testing, and functional testing.
• Conduct high-current injection tests for circuit breakers and relay protection schemes.
• Test interlocking functions, alarms, signals, and trip mechanisms to ensure operational safety.
• Verify control and monitoring systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI integration.
• Conduct load testing and system energization in coordination with project teams.
