OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing and higher education, with the ability to effectively teach and mentor students in both classroom and clinical settings. This role is essential in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their future careers in healthcare.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in higher education teaching or adult education is highly desirable.
  • Supervising experience in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development processes.
  • Experience working with students in a teaching hospital or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and patient care protocols.
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools to enhance the educational experience.
  • Critical care experience is preferred; ICU experience is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction and supervision to nursing students in both classroom and clinical environments.

  • Conduct documentation reviews to ensure compliance with academic requirements and standards.
  • Engage in research activities that contribute to the advancement of nursing education and practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities, including teaching hospitals, to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Mentor students in patient care practices across various settings, including acute care, critical care, pediatrics, and senior care.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Stay current with medical terminology, nursing administration practices, and advancements in healthcare education.
