This is a Part-Time position (40 hours per pay period) with an 8-hour day shift schedule located at our Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo. The shifts will be Monday 7am - 4pm, Thursday 7am - 11am, and Friday 7am - 4pm. Educate patients and families and document patient interactions. Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice. Required Qualifications: Current California LVN license American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: One year of outpatient experience as LVN or LPN Experience in an outpatient setting
Responsibilities
The Licensed Vocational Nurse will perform patient assessments, emergency procedures, and appropriate medication administration. Responsibilities also include educating patients and families, documenting interactions, and practicing infection control to ensure quality patient care within the scope of practice.
