We are currently seeking PRN LVN’s to: direct and coordinate activities of CNAs perform basic daily nursing functions issue proper medications meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care Qualifications Required Education/Certification/Licensure: Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required. Worker Traits: Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative Training and Experience: Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired. Job Knowledge: Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
Responsibilities
The LVN will direct and coordinate activities of CNAs and perform basic daily nursing functions. They will also issue medications and meet the nursing needs of residents while maintaining high standards of care.
