Job DetailsJob Location: Hondo Clinic 3200 Ave E - Hondo, TX 78861Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DaysPOSITION PURPOSE: Assists in examination and treatment of patients under direction of Physician or mid-level provider by performing the following duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Drapes patients with covering and positions instruments and equipment. Hands instruments and materials to doctor as directed. Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials. Calls medical facility to schedule patients for tests. Gives injections or treatments, and performs routine laboratory tests. Schedules appointments for ancillary services. Keys data into computer to maintain office and patient records. Responsible for maintaining equipment logs. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
