OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing and higher education, with a passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, developing curriculum, and fostering an engaging learning environment for students pursuing their nursing degrees.
CNA Class schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9a-2pm. 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
Part time role with the opportunity for more hours teaching clinical rotations on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7am-2pm.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid LVN or RN license with at least one year experience in a long term care facility such as assisted living, nursing home or rehabilitation
  • Spanish-speaking although not required, high recommended
  • Previous teaching experience in higher education or adult education settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, senior care, pediatrics, and nursing aide administration is essential.
  • Experience working with students in a classroom or clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in curriculum development and instructional design are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse learners effectively.
