Description JOB TITLE: LVN SCHEDULER ***$9,500 SOB*** JOB CODE: 23 DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATIVE FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF NURSING JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity. Also responsible for facility scheduling. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care of any residents assigned Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse Lift, move, and transfer residents as required Answer call lights in a timely manner Assist or feed residents Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents Monthly schedule development based on facility budgeted PPD Complete and post daily schedule Complete daily staffing sheet postings and maintain one year of postings Work to replace staff for PTO/sick requests, call in's, absenteeism Track attendance of clinical team members Work on the floor as a CNA or CMA as needed Participate in on call schedule as assigned Understand and adhere to the guidelines of “Residents Rights” and assure resident safety Other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Required Current LVN license CPR certified required; 30 days will be given to complete a course and get certified Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner Ability to work flexibly and positively with intermittent interruptions Ability to speak clearly and provide educational skills that are conducive to a good learning environment in training staff on skill related work; good customer service Preferred 2 years nurse experience in long term care/skilled nursing PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned; including some weekends evenings and holidays WORK ENVIRONMENT: Clinical Caraday Healthcare provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other characteristic protected by law.
