The LW IT Engineer at Anglo-Eastern Ship Management will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of the company's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: · Manage, monitor, and maintain IT systems and networks, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability. · Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. · Implement and oversee IT security measures to safeguard company data and ensure compliance with industry standards. · Collaborate with other IT staff to develop solutions for various departments and assist in system enhancements. · Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and compliance. · Participate in projects related to system upgrades, installations, and IT initiatives. · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. · Proven experience in IT support or engineering roles, preferably within the maritime or logistics sector. · Strong knowledge of networking principles, IT security practices, and common operating systems. · Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders. · Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
