    • Proven experience in equivalent or similar role

                              Responsibilities

                              LyLo is a brand new look and feel hotel in the heart of Auckland City. Our next generation hotel features a new and unique pod design, ensuite rooms, double rooms (with shared facilities), communal kitchen, Miss Lucy’s bar and restaurant, as well as co-working and co-living spaces. This state-of-the-art property is the largest of it’s kind in New Zealand and an example of where the brand is heading.

                              This full-time role consists of a dual responsibility where you will coordinate the Work Stay Play (WSP) program part-time and serve as a Duty Manager in the bar for the remaining time.
                              Key Accountabilities – Work Stay Play Coordinator
                              -
                              - Delivery of the 3-day orientation program for all groups alongside WSP advisor.
                              -
                              - Preparation, planning and participant communications for all WSP groups.
                              -
                              - Liaison with Reservations Manager to ensure all reservations accurately recorded in Mews and invoiced accordingly.
                              -
                              - Liaison with LyLo Auckland Team to ensure aspects of WSP programs are explained to rest of team and request any accommodation extensions or additional requirements for these groups as they arise.
                              -
                              - Work alongside WSP Advisor to handle pastoral care and emergency call enquiries as required and establish a 24/7 answering process with appropriate SOPs for Duty Managers, and a call/enquiries log.

                              - Monitor WSP group chats and participate as required.

                              - Work with WSP Co-ordinator and CX/Marketing Manager on potential improvements to the program and provide advice/assistance to help grow the program as we market this directly on the LyLo website and to guests already in-property.
                              Key Accountabilities – Duty Manager
                              -
                              - Oversee bar operations during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
                              -
                              - Supervise bar staff, providing guidance, training and support as needed.
                              -
                              - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
                              -
                              - Perform cash up duties at the end of each shift.
                              -
                              - Ensure accurate reconciliation of daily sales and deposits.
                              -
                              - Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in cash handling.
                              -
                              - Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
                              -
                              - Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
                              -
                              - Ensure that the venue maintains a clean, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere for guests.
                              -
                              - Ensure all staff comply with liquor licensing laws and regulations.
                              -
                              - Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
                              -
                              - Promote a safe and clean working environment for all staff.
                              -
                              - Assist in training and developing a high-performing bar team guided by the F&B Manager.
                              -
                              - Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
                              -
                              - Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient daily operations.

                              - Work closely with the F&B Manager to oversee daily operations.
                              -
                              - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and food quality standards.
                              -
                              - Stay up to date on menu items, specials, and promotions.
                              -
                              - Ensure that group dining experiences are well-organized and meet the guests’ expectations.
                              -
                              - Liaise with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals.
