Description

An SpR-level (ST3+) Clinical Research Fellow in Lymphoma is required at the Department of Haematology, University College London Hospital to join the team from August 2025. This is initially a 12 month post with expectation that it will continue for 24 months subject to funding and performance. The Research Fellow will be based within the lymphoma team at UCLH and the CR-UK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre - CTC.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist training in the design and conduct of lymphoma clinical trials and to develop skills in the management of patients with lymphoproliferative disorders within one of the largest haematology departments in Europe.
In the CTC the Clinical Fellow will work closely with the senior trial coordinators and statisticians writing grant applications developing protocols, assisting with adverse event reporting, reviewing trial eligibility, writing papers for presentation and publication and delivering teaching and training to the CTC staff. The Clinical Fellow will take an active role within the national Lymphoma subgroup committees helping to design and deliver the national portfolio of lymphoma trials.
This is a rare opportunity to get hands on learning into how trials are developed and conducted.
Previous fellows have had the opportunity to present trial data at major international conferences (EHA/ASH) have gained first author publications and now lead or take critical roles in UK academic clinical trials.
Within the haematology department the post holder will further develop expertise in all aspects of the clinical management of patients with lymphoproliferative disorders and will be an integral member of a large clinical team delivering world class care to patients with lymphoma. They will attend 2 clinics and 1 MDT per week and will be expected to lead on delivery of internal research projects.
This post will provide excellent opportunities for a self-motivated trainee who already has registrar-level experience of lymphoma clinical management and some research experience to gain further research and clinical experience that will help them to develop their CV and enhance their career
