Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The transaction team are looking for an experienced and strategically minded Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Transactions and work closely across the cross-functional teams which include development, finance, operations, legal and other business units. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a background in Finance and M&A to join a market leading team and to play a key role in delivering business commercial success and continued sustainable growth.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Play a role in preparing, managing and executing transactions as the team optimises the current and future pipeline in terms of asset divestments / investments, joint ventures, partnership opportunities and to manage ongoing relationships with existing stakeholders
- Prepare and help execute comprehensive transaction documentation, including marketing materials, deal structuring, term sheets, agreements and contracts
- Collaborate with a multi-functional deal team across technical, legal and finance to deliver commercial success for each asset/portfolio.
- Work closely with the internal financial modelling team to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and analyses to support transaction evaluations and negotiations
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential transactions, including financial analysis, risk assessment, market research and asset valuation to inform robust decision-making
