PERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools like Monday, Asana, etc.
  • Strong communication skills
  • As a minimum, a good understanding of accounting and financial modelling
  • Ability to deliver exceptionally strong output even under time pressure
  • Attention to detail

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Circa 4-7 years of relevant professional experience either in a Big 4 environment, M&A, Strategy Consulting or In-house project management/strategy
  • Master’s degree (ideally MBA) from one of the world’s top 50 universities
  • CFA, ACA or similar qualification (ideally Big 4) is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Transaction Manager to lead a wide range of tasks linked to buy-side, sell-side, fundraising and strategic advisory mandates. This is a great opportunity for an individual who already has M&A experience (either in Transaction Services, Management Consulting, or In-house) and who is now ready to step up to lead M&A projects and manage client relationships.

The role holder will be leading the day-to-day management of M&A projects from inception to completion, covering a wide range of topics. During the course of the projects, the role holder will be the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Main aspects of the role include:

  • Project planning/management/leadership
  • Managing relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Responsibility for the delivery of projects incl. preparation of documents (pitch decks, IMs, etc.), project plans, financial models, due diligence process, transaction reporting, etc.
  • Coordinating tasks across the team and managing junior team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard
