KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent professional experience in the construction industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an M&E Coordinator or related role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within large-scale construction projects.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical aspects across multiple projects as assigned by the Operations Director.
  • Ensure timely delivery of snag-free projects, meeting quality standards, budgets, and tender margins.
  • Manage design-build projects to align with client specifications.
  • Support and monitor site management teams on M&E packages to maintain program schedules, quality benchmarks, and financial targets.
  • Uphold exceptional health and safety standards throughout all project stages.
  • Handle dispute resolution and assist in preparing contractual claims when necessary.
  • Contribute to project estimation tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Manage final project completions, including the release of retentions:
  • Agree on snag lists with the design team and client.
  • Assign snag tasks to relevant subcontractors.
  • Organize snag completion with the in-house team.
  • Prepare contra charges with detailed documentation.
  • Ensure subcontractor retentions are released only after addressing all outstanding contra charges.
