Context:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&E Design/Construction Manager to lead and manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and construction activities within transport infrastructure (motorway and rail) projects in various locations across Australia.

Missions/Main Duties:

• Lead and manage the M&E design and construction activities across multiple transport infrastructure (road and rail) projects.
• Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and systems engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Oversee procurement and installation of M&E systems, including electrical power distribution, lighting, HVAC, and communications.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, government bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality assurance requirements.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to M&E design and construction.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
