THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive M&E Junior Account Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will begin by managing a small portfolio of Mechanical & Electrical service contracts, including small project works valued up to £10,000, with a clear progression path toward senior account management.
This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, succession-focused environment, building your expertise in M&E compliance, planned maintenance, reactive works, and small-scale project delivery while providing excellent service to our clients.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in M&E services, facilities management, or account management.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes, statutory compliance, and relevant regulations.
  • Experience managing small projects, ideally up to £10K in value.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both clients and contractors.
  • Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and M&E contract management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CAFM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of health & safety and statutory requirements within M&E services.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Relevant M&E, engineering, or building services qualification.
  • Experience using CAFM software.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage small-volume M&E service contracts, ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations.
  • Coordinate and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and minor projects (up to £10K in value) for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Work closely with the helpdesk team to allocate and monitor M&E jobs, ensuring completion within agreed SLAs.
  • Liaise with and manage specialist M&E contractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, statutory requirements, and service agreements.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding M&E activities.
  • Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and compliance records, producing regular reports for senior management.
  • Assist with budget management, cost control, and financial tracking of small projects.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and energy efficiency initiatives within M&E operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
