The Role
Reporting to: Planning Manager
An excellent opportunity for an M&E Planner or Senior Planner has become available to join the Living Midlands regional team based in our Birmingham office.
The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in Asta Powerproject and be able to develop and fully integrate end to end programmes from pre construction, through to construction, testing, commissioning and completion. They will need to be able to accurately record all progress of the works and analyse critical path, advising the project teams of critical and near critical actions. A good understanding of contract terms and requirements will be essential to ensure the baseline programme and any revisions are compliant.
They will be required to support all functions of the business from Pre-Construction and Construction, providing concise reports in line with the company reporting structure. Must be able to work in a team environment on and off site, liaise and present to client teams.

Requirements

  • Ideally qualified in either planning or management or hold qualifications HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services or equivalent, with a balanced building services career.
  • Proficient in Asta Powerproject
  • Willing and able to work as part of a team on and off site with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment and liaise and present to client teams.
  • Pro-active and approachable
